The Legend
There's an old story in the folklores of India about an impoverished man named Sudama who was great friends with the god Krishna. His poverty had become so severe that one day Sudama's wife urged him to go and meet Krishna to seek help. She sent with him 4 handfuls of parched beaten rice as a gift for Krishna as that was all they could procure. Sudama went to Krishna's palace to be met with the highest forms of generosity.
